I still plan on being there at 2.  Looking forward to it.  Any tips of what to bring other than the usual swim equip?

Swim cap, goggles, water bottle. snack/drink for afterwards.  Swimming makes you hungry!

Thank you so much June and Rita for the introduction to and help on my first open water swim!  You two are so sweet!  I still have much work to do, but I now feel so much better about the whole concept.  It was nice meeting you as well, Greg.

It was great time swimming and I really did enjoy meeting you all.  The tips on sighting and just getting more open water swimming in was great.  I was waiting for them to throw in potatoes and corn into the pot they call Lake at 288 as the water was very warm.  ;)  Have a great week and thanks for making it a worthwhile and fun Saturday afternoon. 
 
ps.  what was the name of that book again?  I did not write it down and the brain lost it.

Please keep posting whenever anyone is headed out for an OWS.   I need to get some consistent practice. 

I wish I could have made it on Sunday at Lake 288.
