Unless someone else has ever heard of such a thing, I hereby claim the award for being the first person chased by a wild boar on a bike. It was at the creek where the road between the Shell station and Fulshear turns a 90-degree angle. He charged me from the brush there but stopped short either because I snarled at him or maybe just because he saw it was a Cervelo and knew he wasn't fast enough.

I live in Fulshear.  Although, I haven't seen a wild bore yet, my neighbor has been chased by one a few years ago.  I actually had one cross my path on the Nobel Trail in George Bush park on a mountain bike once.  Scared me to death.  I stopped on a dime and turned my bike around so qucik, I was a complete blur.  I'm sure the bore never saw me.
